Are the writers seriously expecting us to root for Maxie and Lulu against Nelle? Nelle did nothing wrong anyway. She legally gave a tip to a media organization about the Ask Man Landers fraud. Maxie and Lulu are the ones who broke the law at the Invader office. As others have noted, Chloe Lanier rises above the ridiculous writing for her character. Her acting is on a whole different level than almost all the other actors on this show.

I don’t think they want us to root for Maxie or LuLu. I agree that Nelle was in the right when she exposed the fraud. It’s the “why she did it” that we are suppose to care. Nelle is not a beacon of truth, and has hid her secrets only to expose others. Nelle makes someone hurt when she’s been hurt, similar to Carly 1.0 in the past.. Nelle really only thinks of herself. I’ve mentioned on another thread about Nelle becoming pregnant. But wouldn’t it be great if Carly was Nelle’s mom? Talk about a baby story then.

Team Nelle here as well.

Especially when the other team is Maxie & Lulu without a doubt.

Absolutely none of this is either legally or morally relevant. I mean, look at all the women accusing Harvey Weinstein, are they all morally upright and pure? Do they have to be morally upright and pure if they can provide conclusive evidence proving their accusations? I don't think so.

How the hell is that at all relevant to anything that was said. Those women were victims of a crime where Nell wanted a pay day. Which is her right. She has no real connection to Maxie/Amy/Nathan so who cares if she gave the tip. This is just going to be another thing Michael finds out about and gets mad at Nell. Because Michael is good and perfect while Nell is an evil monster.

Nelle is a whistleblower, alerting the public to criminal behavior by the rich and famous, just like all the women who accused Weinstein. You don't have to be morally perfect to be a whistleblower, and in fact, 99.9% of all whistleblowers are themselves criminals who decide to decide to become whistleblowers form the sole purpose of covering their own ass and distracting the public from their own misdeeds, that doesn't mean that you can just dismiss what they have to say.

Uh, you are confusing whistleblowers with criminals who cut a deal when in custody. Those are NOT whistleblowers.

A couple years ago I lost a job because the co. I worked for was injuring customers by breakin git sown rules, and local fire and safety laws. I followed procedures, within the co., was supported by mu immediate superior, and then was fired, when the people who were in charge and ordering other employees to commit crimes found out.

But, they cd legally fire me in a Right To Work State, because, you know, good guys who stand up for the law, and are good citizens, deserve no protection against legally protected criminals.

That is WAY different than some Mafia soldier turning in his Boss when he pleads out.

The very reason so much is so wrong in business s because of Right To Work laws, and such, because real whistleblowers, like me, have ZERO legal protection!

No, I'm not. Look at John Dean in the Nixon White House. Out of all the people in the Nixon White House, out of all the people involved in Watergate, he is the most corrupt and the one who was most deserving of a long, long, long prison sentence. But, knowing that his goose was cooked, he decided to turn against Nixon, and now this guy who committed more felonies than all the other people involved in Watergate combined and multiplied by 10, is hailed as 'the conscience of the nation', simply because he was trying to cover his own ass. That's the way it is with most so-called 'whistleblowers'.

You are using a famous example in lieu of 1000s of decent people who do the right thing and then get crushed. And Dean was one of those rats I mentioned. He cut a deal- that is not a whistleblower. A whistleblower is someone who does the right thing at great personal risk, not selling out to save their ass.

I was not breaking laws, nor under indictment, just following up and taking 'ownership' by helping and reporting customers that were injured. I was fired and had no legal recourse because of Right To Work laws.

That's 180 degrees from a Dean or any other scumbag who is just selling out a bigger rat.

Auto, I don’t disagree that Nelle was right in turning them in. But Nelle didn’t go to the police or the DA, she went for a payday. Her right too. I agree that she’s seriously troubled and could be dangerous to herself or others if pushed too far. Why? Because she doesn’t consider all outcomes at this point. Only how she looks good.

I loathe Lulu but I must admit I’m enjoying the Maxie/Nelle rivalry/bitchfest. It’s a watered down version of Krystle and Alexis but I find it entertaining lol
