How do we treat specials ?

This serie contain a special episode: https://www.netflix.com/fr-en/title/81168505 Do we have to merge this one: https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/669525-night-on-earth-shot-in-the-dark?language=en-EN I'm a little bit confused. TheTVDB is treating the special episode as a special and not a movie from nowhere.

We tend to follow the original network. A film entry is fine since Netflix released it as a separate film entry.
