Extra Details: The Season 3 episode air date is erroneously set. It's currently 3/14/2023 (a Tuesday) and it should be 3/15/2023 (a Wednesday). This inaccuracy is causing scrobblers like Trakt to display the weekly air date one day ahead of the actual air date.

The release date of Apple TV shows is based on Ireland time. The shows are available the previous day around 9pm in the United States. Consequently, the listed dates are correct as this is a United States show.

In the US (I live in Texas) AppleTV+ lists Ted Lasso weekly airings as Wednesdays, but due to the TMDB information Trakt incorrectly displays the next episode as airing on Tuesdays, which is a day earlier that the actual air time. TMDB shows S03E01 as originally airing 3/14/23, but AppleTV+ states it's 3/15/23. I hope I'm not being argumentative as I want the same thing you do...an accurate TMDB record.

As indicated above, even if Apple TV+ list it for March 15, the show is already available on March 14 around 9pm. So, for us, the March 14 date is correct.

Since TMDB is a global database there's a reason the "Worldwide Premier Date" matters more that the UK premier date. A lot of apps rely on accurate premier dates so that their internal timezone compensation algorithms will present accurate information for global consumption.

All our shows are listed based on their release date in their original country.
"Ted Lasso" is a United States show and this show is avalable in the US on March 14 around 9pm. So, we should list it as released on March 14.
This is the rule of this site and is not specific to this show.
