Zara is going back home after five years as she was studying at a university in Aligarh. A riot breaks out against the triple talaq bill when she and her friend are buying sweets for her family. As a result, they are forced to flee from there. Later, they take shelter from the mob and take a lift in a truck. However, they again find themselves in the mob’s path and are saved by Kabir. Afterwards, he returns them safely to their train.

While shopping, Zara and Reema come across a beautiful outfit and Reema insists her to try. Two boys click her photo in that outfit and Kabir fights the boys and deletes it. After that, Zara and Reema invite Kabir for a coffee.

However, when he comments about her clothing, she gets angry with him and tells him about how men must behave instead.
