Discuss Don't F**k with Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer

Deanna and John are amazing - this wasn't even what they are paid to do: from getting into the mind of the killer, to recognizing his writing patterns, to forensic image analysis, to gleaning clues from his movie co-opting... two people who never met each other, yet complemented each other while keeping step with this diabolical psychopath and helping to obliterate his attempt to create a phantom puppet master, ensuring he alone rightly bore the full weight of accountability.

I agree...and they are two of thousands, tens of thousands or even millions out there. It's an interesting world where we are our own surveillance system, for good and for bad. The craziest part for me was how she scoured Craigslist postings and could find his posts by his speech patterns, typos and misspellings. That's next level, but also points to how well she had come to "know" him through her own obsession. Wild stuff.
