오리지널 피겨 스케이트 단체경기 '스케이트 리딩' 에 청춘을 건 고등학생들의 이야기.

'넌 평생 나한테 못 이겨'

라이벌 시노자키 레오의 그 한마디로 피겨 스케이트를 그만둔 마에시마 켄세이.

몇 년 뒤 고등학생이 된 마에시마는 타고난 운동신경으로 다양한 부활동에서 도우미로 활약하며

뭔가에 빠져드는 일이 없는 나날을 보내고 있었다.

어느 날, 마에시마는 라이벌이었던 시노자키가 싱글에서 스케이트 리딩으로 전향한다는 기자 회견을 보게 된다. 그런 마에시마의 앞에 사스가이 하야토라는 소년이 나타난다. 그는 마에시마가 예전에 싱글에서 활약했다는 사실도 알고 있는 듯했다.

그리고 '나에겐 네가 필요해'라고 말하며 마에시마에게 피겨 단체경기 스케이트 리딩을 권유하는데....
