I wanted to watch this Australian series partly because Tim Minchen, my favorite atheist, is co-creator and star, but also because I heard good things about it. And rightly so. It is one of the best comedy series I have seen since Gavin & Stacey. The two lead characters really don’t want to travel together, but circumstances dictate they stay together in this road trip film.

They both carry secrets with them, which they work steadily towards revealing. This is hilarious in places, even while it deals in serious subjects. One thing I like about it is that at its core it is a gentle series. T... read the rest.
