The first two episodes were great until the 3rd. Completely lost me and got really boring. Great acting, not great writing.
I continued on to the 5th episode hoping it would take a turn but, I just don't care about any of the characters or what's going on in this show. Anyone else experience this? Maybe you have to be a fan of the Moon Night comic books?

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD No you're definitely not the only one. I feel pretty much the same as you: couldn't give a damn about any of the characters, least of all the main one (I like his Steven persona a bit more than his Marc one, but that's not saying much). The only character I felt I could maybe connect to, down the road, was Layla (and I thought May Calamawy did a pretty good job with the role) but the writing didn't help her any. I was ready to call it quits after the 3rd one too, but considering I was already halfway to the end (and I almost never quit on a show halfway through a season), I finished it. It was mostly a waste of time as, no matter how uninteresting I found the characterization, it seems even the writers got bored with it at the end, with the last episode devolving into the worst CGI bore-fest since Justice League 2017 / The Mummy 2017: lots of lightning, people screaming, giant gods fighting in the background destroying pyramids (buildings are so passé)... The works. Substance? None. Any kind of payoff to the previous 5 episodes world-building? None.
