Discuss Stumptown

Okay, I got a little confused during the second episode. Is her friend Grey the guy who tried to stick up the convenience store?

I wondered that at first two, but I rewound and looked to see if he had like a bump on his head or something, so I don't think he was. Plus there was no alluding to it the morning after, but I might be wrong.

I was confused at the body at the end also, was it the guy who "found true love" or his former partner in crime, after I rewound that I saw the beard and gold tooth.

Looks like it's going to be a good show, but I do sometimes grow weary of these kind of shows with platonic friendships that continues the "will they or won't they" saga.

Hi HarrisonHanksHackman,

I just wanted to thank you again for recommending Bosch. I am officially addicted and binge watched all of the episodes. I am waiting patiently for season 6 to start. Stumptown is entertaining enough. I agree with the "will they or won't they" thing getting kind of old.

I meant to rewind the convenience store scene to listen to his voice again and see if it matches Grey's but I erased the episode already. It was just interesting because he was so friendly during the robbery. Also, his nose looked like it was broken but then I realized that it is his actual nose...hahaha. Perhaps it will come out later, or not.

I also thought the man in love was murdered by the con artist lady. With it being the gold tooth guy it will make an interesting story line for Grey.

It definitely wasnt Grey. The confusion may stem from the fact that she and Grey met for the first time when she walks out of the store from the robbery. But Grey clearly does not look like he just got beat to hell when she leaves the store. I just think it was an incident used to show how they met.

I like this show. it's entertaining enough. It's no "Bosch" (which is brilliant) but it works for me and hopefully will grow in to something.
