This brings to mind the Jamie Bulger case and the right of the perpetrators for a lenient sentence and life long anonymity. The message seems to be one of understanding and forgiveness. I don't agree with either. All the system did was release them to offend again - it is not justice. It was well acted but overlong. I watched the first and last episodes and didn't feel like I had missed anything relevant. By the way - isn't it a condition of their parole that they do not return to the area of the crime?
