Tues. 7-3-23 Today's show: Good seeing Lani. And I appreciate her being suspicious.

Naturally, Kate's a hoot as Lorna DeLorean on "Body & Soul" but Marlena & Kayla were more fun. Having the actor who played young Theo be in the soap within a soap was clever.

I hate not knowing anything about Megan's condition but the show does not update every story every day.

Overall today was a good DAYS. No Alex, Leo, Gwen, Coltin, ... their absence makes the soap fan fonder!

DAYS Wed. show.

The Abe/Misery storyline has moved into pathos. Really sadder & definitely sicker. His first attempt at escape was thwarted.

Looks like they are gonna "go there" with Chanel & Talia.

This was a good day.

DAYS Th. show, 'd been dreading today because it's Miranda's last day but I was delighted with their method for having her ... vanish!

As I watched Leo rifle through things in Dimitri's room, I thought not for the first time that he is an excellent character actor by his handling of props & objects. He's just one of many "Actors I love who play characters I hate".

I did not see the ending coming.

I want them to bring some other people into this Shawn story.

Yesterday's show, so talky, so many words! Poor Rachel, hearing her daddy yell at her mommy. See him with a gun, pointing it at her mommy & saying he's gonna kill her. Fortunately, she is resourceful & she got his phone & called the police. And, Belle, so ironic that she confidently told Kristen that there was no way Brady would kill anyone.

Oops. Now Brady is at the mercy of Melinda Trask & that is one woman who has no mercy to give. Of course, Belle will work it so he gets bail. He's a white man with no record.

And I still can't get over Leo betraying Gwen. They are each other's only friends.

Thurs., 7-20-23

I thought it was a good day but I often find I like David Kreizman daily script days.

Wendy & Tripp are finally seeming to move into real relationship territory & it's working.

DanF's iteration of EJ really seems to be growing especially in his relationship with Nicole, where when they're together Ari seems to be light, airy & very beautiful. When they smile at each other & talk intimately there seems to be some magic going on. And I say that even though I think Nicole & Eric is Endgame. EJ seems like a real person with her instead of the petty schemer with & against Stefan.

I figured Sloan was going to be pregnant. I'm still not sure how I feel about Eric with her. I almost never understand time in Salem & it seemed weird to me that she represents Colin in court tomorrow!

Rafe & Johnny overhearing Jada tell Talia that her love life with Rafe is "The Bomb" was funny, sweet & a little hot. If the Brady Pub's "overheards" could be compiled into book form I guess it would be an encyclopedia set.

Melinda Trask & Li (Why is he still here?) looked like they were going somewhere with it & then they crashed & burned & he went home sulking & interrupting Tripp & Wendy & she switched from wine to whiskey neat, keep 'em coming. ... I bet this is a serious chem test.

I think this is the third day I've felt like there's just a ton of talking going on. But that can be soapy. I didn't get any LOTDs today. Dialog wasn't so much snappy as sweet.
