I've never watched this show, but apparently a number of people here have.
While perusing latest obituaries I noticed that John Clarke, 88, indicated to have been on this show, portraying Mickey Horton for 39 years, passed on October 16.
According to IMDb, Mr. Clarke appeared in 3,556 episodes, beginning from the series' very first episode, until retiring in 2004.
Since he died about a week ago and it doesn't seem to have been mentioned on any TMDb boards, I wanted to create this thread here, so fans will be aware of his passing.
RIP.

Sad. Surprised he's in his 80's too.
Lost touch with that program ages ago, think after Alice became a great-great grandmother. Alice and Tom had Addie, Tommy, Billy, Mickey and Marie, and Addie had Julie and Hope before the car accident, and Julie had David, who had their fifth generation baby with his cousin's fiancee. Meanwhile, Julie married her mother's widower, and they adopt her half-sister until her stepfather/husband unknowingly had a baby with the housekeeper, who is forced into marriage with his business partner.
Now they're all gone except for Marie, who happily joined the convent after finding out that she was engaged to her brother Tommy after he had the plastic surgery from shell shock. Then he went upstairs and never came back down for breakfast, sort of like the forgotten elder brother on Happy Days. Think the same thing happened on QVC, too.
