عقب اثنتي عشرة سنة على حدث غريب على كوكب الأرض، يوقظ "دان" كائنًا مرعبًا، يخبره بعدها أنه شريكه، ثم يشتبك "دان" ورفيقاه في معركتهم الأولى.

يدخل "دان" في مبارزة "باكوغان" ليمنع تهديدًا في مطعم برغر محلّي، ويتعامل "الفريق الرائع" مع مجموعة من المعجبين مستخدمين الـ"باكوغان" بتهوّر.

يواجه "الفريق الرائع" فتًى مشاكسًا في الحيّ يدّعي أنه أفضل حامل "باكوغان"، ويدخل "وينتون" في خلاف مع الـ"باكوغان" خاصته بسبب مقالبه المضحكة.

حين يُمنع الـ"باكوغان" يضطرّ "الفريق الرائع" للبحث عن مكان آخر للمنافسة إلى أن تعمّ الفوضى، وتواجه "ليا" منافسة شرسة بعد تلقّيها دعوة تحدٍّ.

يختبر حاملا "باكوغان" جديدان مهاراتهما لنيل مكانٍ في "الفريق الرائع". ولاحقًا، تلتقي المجموعة بصيّاد حين يفقدون واحد من الـ"باكوغان".

يعثر "لايتنينغ" على "باكوغان" جديد، فيشعل عراكًا عنيفًا بين "أرتوليان" و"هولكور"، ويُقحم تقرير إخباري "الفريق الرائع" في موقف لا يحسد عليه.

يتحدى فريق منافس "الفريق الرائع" في معركة خطيرة والفائز يجني كل شيء، وتشعر المجموعة بالضغط لتنضم إلى دوري "باكوغان" لجني المال وإنقاذ متنزه.

يقتاد معجب متحمّس "الفريق الرائع" إلى متاهة تحت الأرض، حيث ينوي منافستهم. وعندما يجتاح التلوث حقل "باكوغان"، تتدخّل "ليا" للمساعدة.

تكشف معركة "دان" الشرسة ضدّ "ماغنوس" عن شكل "باكوغان" المتطوّر، وتُرسل استغاثة مشفّرة بشأن "باكوغان" مفقود "الفريق الرائع" إلى موقع غريب.

يواجه "شون" معركة "باكوغان" تغيّر مجرى حياته، فيقاتل ليبقى مع "الفريق الرائع". ومع استمرار خلاف القيادة بين "دان" و"شون"، يظهر تهديد جديد.

يتلقّى "شون" زيارة تكشف عن أخبار مروعة ويُفاجأ بخصم غير متوقع، وتراود "دراغو" وكل الـ"باكوغان" الخاص بـ"الفريق الرائع" رؤيا غريبة في سباتهم.

يحاول "الفريق الرائع" فضح غشّاش، فيكتشفون أنهم مراقبون، ثم يقابلون "بينتون داسك" ويواجهون عملاء "إيه إيه أنيميس" التابعة لـ"فيلومينا داسك".

بعد معرفة "الفريق الرائع" بأمر سجن الـ"باكوغان"، يتوجّهون إلى عالم متاهة "فيسترويا"، إذ ينتظرهم خطر كبير، ويتعاونون للعثور على وسيلة للخروج.

يتعامل الـ"باكوغان" مع نسخة مختلفة من أفراد "الفريق الرائع" بعد أن علقوا في المتاهة، ويتحمّسون للعودة للمنزل بعد مغامرة مثيرة في "فيسترويا".

حين تسيطر قوّة غامضة على "باكوغان"، يتعيّن على "دراغو" و"الفريق الرائع" استخدام مصدر طاقة خاص لوقفها. ولاحقًا، يحاول "تيكو" تعطيل خلية نواة.

بعد نجاة "الفريق الرائع" من المتاهة، تخضع فنون قتالهم المتطوّرة للاختبار. ولاحقًا، يتساءلون عمّا سيفعلونه مع "باكوغان" شبيه الدبّ.

فيما يقاتل "شون" أحد أقربائه، يحاول "الفريق الرائع" تطوير الـ"باكوغان" خاصته، لكن عليهم أولًا استكشاف "خليّة النواة" وإبقاء "شون" في المنزل.

تتحقق "ليا" المصوّرة لـ"باكوغان" من كيفية تطوير "بيغاتريكس"، ويحاول "دان" خداع "الفريق الرائع" ويتطلّع "ديوران دين" لمواجهة "باكوغان" متطور.

بعدما يجد "دان" و"وينتون" خلية نواة مُخبأة، يصادفان عدوًّا قديمًا، ويسيطر كولونيل "تريب" على عقل "وينتون" ويشعل عراكًا مع الـ"باكوغان".

حين يتحدّى "دان" "ماغنوس" وحاملي الـ"باكوغان"، يعلق في انفجار بركاني، ويكتشف "لايتنينغ" موقع خلية النواة ويعارك "ستراتا".

بعدما يكتشف "الفريق الرائع" خلية النواة الجديدة، يجدون أن "ماغنوس" وفريقه يحمونها بالفعل، ويتنافس "دان" و"ماغنوس" في مواجهة حاسمة ملحمية.

يوافق "الفريق الرائع" على عرض "فيلومينا" المشبوه في مقرّ "إيه إيه أنيميس" بعد عجزهم عن الاقتراب بشكل كافٍ لحماية خليّة النواة.

يحلّق "الفريق الرائع" في الأجواء من أجل قتالٍ مخادعٍ وهم ينقلون الخليّة النواة بالمروحيات، ويمنح العمل البحثي الطاقم أكثر ممّا ساوموا عليه.

يترتّب على الرابط الغامض بين "الفريق الرائع" وخليّة النواة عواقب مخيفة، وتتكشّف حقيقة خطّة "فيلومينا" لإيجاد عالم أفضل.

لإحباط مؤامرة "فيلومينا"، يعقد "الفريق الرائع" تحالفًا مريرًا مع "بينتون"، وتضع مواجهة ملحمية مع "باكوغان" الشركاء في اختبار بدني وعاطفي.

Shun's cousin claims Hydorous as his intellectual property the AO must battle to keep their friend.

Confronted by China, Riot Lia learns to evolve Pegatrix after realizing the true meaning behind her filming obsession.

Dan tries to lie about evolving Drago and gets exposed while the team face off against Duran Dane and his Bakugan.
