The previous rationale for keeping the two separate may no longer apply, as Channel 4 have revised their numbering to be continuous with the BBC series.

We are listing the elements as they were originally released. Consequently, no renumbering should occur and the entry is correct.

How does it affect the current season which is listed as 14?
That is originally released as series 14 today cake week.
https://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-great-british-bake-off Channel 4 is listing it as the continuation. Are you willing to reconsider to keep consistency and accuracy.

And our season is named "Series 14".
As indicated in our rules, we keep consistency and accuracy with the original broadcast.
