I am new to the platform, so I apologize in advance if my questions seem stupid to some.
I would like to inform you of a problem concerning the series Le avventure di Pinocchio (TMDB ID 86662 IMDB ID tt0068243). According to IMDB the main version of this series has six episodes but the TMDB version only has five episodes and the creator of the file has clearly indicated episode 5 of season 1 as being the closing episode.
Being new, I wanted to somewhat hastily add this six-episode version via a group of episodes by creating the "Version de six épisodes" group. However, I'm not sure that this is good practice, plus I got confused and created too many subgroups in the group thinking that I was adding episodes. The ideal I think would be for a TMDB administrator to delete this group. However, what is the best practice when the number of episodes on TMDB does not correspond to IMDB and the season is locked and therefore cannot be modified ?

TMDB only support the original version of a series. So, the 6 episodes version can't be listed on TMDB.
An episode group can only be used to create different episodes order, but it can't be used if the episodes number is different.

After consulting the English Wikipedia page for this miniseries, the original initially broadcast on the Italian channel RAI seems to be the five-episode version. I take note of your response and the fact that the division into six episodes (visibly a specific for France) cannot therefore be implemented on TMDB because only the original work can have a file on the website.
