I've never sought out Country music, but have heard a lot of it throughout the last 50+ years, always have appreciated it, and regarding a number of specific songs (primarily crossover hits, that made it on to regular Top 40 type Pop radio stations) and artists throughout the decades have enjoyed it.
I missed all of Part 1 of this fine documentary, but saw half to 3/4 of each of the subsequent three episodes that have aired so far and have been entirely interested in and impressed by this extensive production. Ken Burn handles yet another subject well and right, and makes the result compelling viewing.
Hopefully lots of people here have been watching this, regardless of what your musical tastes are (and even if you don't normally watch anything on PBS), as it's really good and worthwhile. If you've not been watching this, consider it highly recommended.
Part 5 will air tonight. I believe three remaining episodes will air over the subsequent three nights. All episodes of this 16-hours documentary run at 2 hours.

You'll definitely like it.
By the way, the series finale airs on PBS tonight. That closing episode will cover 1984-1996.
