Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: I've tweaked the credits on this because a number of those listed as regulars aren't actually regulars ie they do not feature in the cast list appearing in the opening titles of each ep. It's a bit tricky really because the titles have a habit of placing big guest star names ie Sylvia Syms, George Costigan and Stephanie Cole in the opening titles despite them not really being regulars/appearing in each ep. Some of the regulars incorrectly listed that I have transferred to guest cast per ep include Jessica Baglow. Yes she appears in 3 of the opening 4 eps (the BBC have only broadcast 4 eps so far) but she does not feature in the opening titles. I have added some actors as regulars (Rosie Cavalero, Gemma Whelan) because they clearly appear in each ep and in the opening titles cast list.

Thanks for your report!
Yes, indeed, the credits are tricky! I watched the show on Friday and it took me some time to put the credits into form. Here's an image of all people from the opening titles:
https://imgur.com/a/rkJH2Rs
So, I made the decision to put all people who appeared in at least 4 episodes as season regulars. See the green numbers on the right side in the image. And all the others belong to the guest cast per each episode. This is an arbitrary decision, but I think that's alright in this case. Which means I put George Costigan, Lydia Leonard and Peter Davison back as season regulars.
Yes, all correct - I agree with you!
I added all guest actresses and actors as well as the whole crew for season 1. There were a few errors in episode 3 -> IMDb lists Maizie McDonagh, Niamh Hustler and Matilda Holt for this episode, but they are not credited at all. It seems this is an error by IMDb - I don't know.
As always, if you see mistakes, just correct them or write back to me here (I'm fairly tired and I guess I made some mistakes).

Thanks for your hard work Janar! I am particularly pleased you've added all the rest of the cast for each ep as I was adding them as each ep went out! Was just about to put ep 6's up for example as that aired tonight!
However, I have to say that I've just looked at my recording of ep 3 and McDonagh, Hustler and Holt are in the closing credits as the Booths. So I'm going to add them back if that's OK

Oh, I didn't know it aired tonight.
Wait! What? That's very strange!
They all do not appear in the credits of my copy of the show! Here, I made screenshots; on the left, it's the first title card, on the right, it's the second title card:

No McDonagh, Hustler and Holt playing members of the Booth family!
That never happened before to me! Perhaps they changed the credits from the airing on HBO to the broadcast on the BBC?!? Can you please check out something else for me to find out? You added the actress Jennifer Matter to episode 2 with the character name "Mrs Barlow". This actress does not appear in the credits of my copy of episode 2 - but she's also in the list on IMDb. Can you spot her on your recording of episode 2?!?
Yeah, I'm not sure what we should do? If those few credits are different, there might be more differences, especially in the crew. Also, it could mean that the episodes are slightly edited from HBO to BBC. To find out, I would have to compare both versions -> but I can't find copies of the BBC broadcast at the moment. I'll look into it, but it will take some more time investigating. After that, I might know how to decide this?!?
Very strange!

How bizarre! The screenshot you have is indeed different to the one on my BBC recording of ep 2! The three girls credits come between the extended Lister family on my one so I do suspect that the BBC broadcasts perhaps have a little extra footage? I'm not very good with screenshots (my recording is to DVDR off the TV) so I can't really provide a copy for you to see I'm afraid. I will definitely check my recording of ep 2 but, given that all my contributions to the cast list came from those credits at the end of each BBC broadcast, I think it will show that she is there all along.

Wait! ep2? You mean ep3, don't you? Don't confuse me even more! I'm already confused!
Where exactly? Between which names?
It's okay. Somehow, I have to find a stream of that BBC broadcast anywhere ...
Yes, I'm also afraid that's the case. At the moment, I have no idea what we should do now?

Sorry, my mistake it IS ep 3! I will check again in a bit, but I'm sure they came somewhere between one of the Gemma's (Whelan or Jones) and Timothy West!

I just skipped through my copy of ep 3 again. Right after Anne is talking to her aunt on her bed and says "They can't touch me!" (15:15 min in my copy), there's a hard cut to an aerial view of Shibden Hall (with some musical cue). Next scene is Elizabeth Cordingley talking in French to Eugénie about John Booth, the death of his wife Rebecca, and how he brought up all three girls. In my copy, I don't see the girls in this scene or later. A while after that, I can see Timothy West for the first time in this episode (15:57 min in my copy).
Perhaps somewhere inbetween there's some additional footage on your copy? Just a speculation, hehe!

OK, here it is; 14:20 in my copy sees Anne saying 'They can't touch me' whilst on her aunt's bed. There is indeed an aerial shot that follows with a musical cue but...the next (admittedly brief) scene is of the Booth children walking through the courtyard with a cow, chatting and then the scene is an exterior one with Elizabeth chatting to Eugénie in French about the Booths!

As for Jennifer Matter as Mrs Barlow, though she isn't named I am guessing (from the actresses image on google search and the appearance on screen) that she is the rather busty and nude blonde that Anne is in bed with in the very quick flashback scene at 27:45 in ep 2, immediately after Anne says "I went there to study anatomy" ;)

Thanks for checking!
Yes, that exact scene is missing in my copy! I wonder why HBO edited this out? Maybe the episode was too long? It's crazy.
However, I really don't want to wonder about this any longer and I think it's okay if we keep them in the guest cast list. I see you added them already - that's done, then.
Do you mean she's not credited at the end?
You are correct, that's her (a few people on tumblr speak about her role and how lucky she is/was ...)! Since we know the actress played this role, I added her to episode 2 again with the note "(uncredited)". Of course, it depends on the above question - was she credited or not?
Can you please do me a favour? When you watch episodes 7 and 8 in the next weeks and you have time -> can you check the guest cast list of your recordings with the people that I added? There could be other irregularities between HBO and BBC version - and I'm unable to find any stream of the BBC version. I searched almost 2 hours yesterday evening - and I always end up with the HBO version. I give up. I think it's not that big of a deal - but who knows what they altered in other episodes?

Sorry no, I mean she isn't referred to as Mrs Barlow in her brief scene. She IS credited in the titles of the BBC version. I'll amend that no probs.
And yes, I will certainly continue to check the ep credits as they go out. It's all very intriguing! Haha

Last episode aired on BBC1 last night and as far as I can see the cast is the same as the one you added from the HBO version. One thing I did notice however was that Lydia Leonard (Mariana Lawton) didn't have her appearances credited. She was in 4 episodes of the 8 part series and I have added her to the relevant episodes.

PS, While I've got you Janar can I ask your advice on another TV show; https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/90833-dark-money?language=en-US I created this entry a few days ago. In some listings its title is written as Dark Money. However, in the programme's title caption itself it is Dark Mon£y. Which spelling should TMDB take as its official title?
