距离「Ring」事件已经过去3个月。

　　高野舞（矢田亚希子）终于开始过正常的生活，但突然收到一封神秘的信。

　　信中写着「山村贞子正在试图复活」，令舞陷入前所未有的恐怖预兆中。

　　这标志着即将发生的恐怖的开端...

　　与此同时，高中教师安藤满男（岸谷五朗）面临着奇怪的事件。

　　在一座办公楼里，6人同时心脏麻痹死亡，发生了令人费解的事件，而前学生西岛美咲（野村佑香）被指控犯有这起谋杀案。

　　为了解开这起事件，安藤与在科学研究所工作的相原夏美（吉本多香美）一起展开行动，但事件却朝着无法想象的方向发展，谜团只是加深。

Le professeur Andou Mitsuo s'emmêle dans la toile de la bande vidéo et Yamamura Sadako par pure chance. Inconnu des circonstances de la découverte de la bande, Mitsuo a repris la recherche pour trouver la vraie « vérité » qui restait suspendue à Takayama Ryuuji et Asakawa Kazuyuki alors que Sadako continuait de se cacher, tuant plus de personnes plus rapidement d'une autre manière qu'en regardant la bande.
