Discuss The Twilight Zone

I just saw the first two episodes of "The Twilight Zone" hosted by Jordan Peele. The twist endings were (sorta) mild and reminded me of the Canadian "filler for syndication" episodes of the 1990's edition. Like "Extra Innings," things go well in their own way, unlike the 1980's "Examination Day" or "A Small Talent For War." I guess it's better that CBS is running this edition; Fox would have cancelled it after the first 15 minutes. (I wonder how "Bob's Burgers" survives there...)

I'd seen episodes #9, "The Blue Scorpion" and #10, "Blurryman," they were unlike the previous set, which led to re-watching them. "The Blue Scorpion" was as off the tracks as the protagonist, who discovered another. "Blurryman" was a "journey through the past," which led to "an angry God" and another set of doors. It was a 2.5 stars out of five season that finally had something to say. I shall have to make do with Ovation TV's "Frankie Drake Mysteries," as that benighted network is shoveling season 12 of "The Murdoch Mysteries" out as fast as they can.
