I've been loving the first season so far, with the exception of the last episode. Did they steal the script from a Hercules: The Legendary Journeys episode?! I felt like Kevin Sorbo and Xena were fighting the bad guys. All it was missing was the comic relief from Iolaus. This episode did not really fit..did anyone else notice this?

It was essentially a Seven Samurai/Magnificent 7 redux, I've seen this same story redone dozens of times. Even Star Trek Enterprise did a version of it.

This. They are hitting all the classic story points. Ep2 was a quest episode. Ep3 was a sort of redemption episode. And of course Ep4 was helping a village episode.

I'm guessing you guys have never seen Hercules and the Legendary Journeys then.

Def did. And of course the spin off Xena. My youth right there. And Cleopatra 2525 and The Beastmaster series!

Ahh the Beastmaster series. Wish it was as good as the first movie with Rip Torn. Kodo and Podo!

Hey I also used to watch Hercules, Xena and Cleopatra 2525, not to mention Jack of all Trades with Bruce Campbell (as well as Brisco County Jr).

I used to watch “Person Of Interest” (2011-2016)--a great show.
I tried to get my friend to watch.
She said that she had seen Jim Caviezel (the star) in the movie "The Passion of the Christ".
She said she couldn't watch him in anything else...that he would always be Jesus to her.
Thankfully, I wasn’t saddled with that “burden”; so was able to enjoy what turned out to be one of my all-time favorites.
