A lot is happening in the final episode of season two, and there are few smiles at the end.

Eddie and Katherine are preparing for their vow renewal, and it's not Rome or Gary, but their son Theo who is chosen to be best man.

Then there is news that Eve is in the hospital going into labour and everyone leaves to be there for her.

The baby, a boy, is born, but Eve decides to keep him after all. The adoptive parents, Rome and Regina, are dumbfouned at Eve's sudden change of mind. Can Rome survive this?

Maggie finally confesses to her ex Gary that she still loves him, but he tells her that it is too late; he wants to be with Darcy. Rejected and hurt, she then leaves for the airport. Gary follows her there and apologizes. He loves her too, but wants to see how things go with Darcy. Is he serious?

Miles and Delilah are still cherishing every moment they are together. Will they get married? Or is it too soon?

Meanwhile Eddie finds out the truth about Alex, who drowned twenty years ago. He feels guilty and goes to a bar, but before he can take his first sip, he sees an old drunk yelling at the television and he realizes that he doesn't want to end that way. He phones Katherine and tells her that he loves her and that he wants to renew their vows tonight. Then tragedy strikes when he crosses the street... 😱
