Respect the Roots of Black Hair

Cultural appropriation. Black hair is sacred. Black women have historically been made to feel like their hair is unkempt or nappy and it isn't considered good or professional when white women adopt or co-opt their hairstyle.

It was because of the little 'curlicues' on each side of her face.

Then shouldn’t black women be accused of “appropriation” by “stealing” Jeannie’s hairdo?
