Accept with one historical figure, J Allen Hynek, not sure about CPT. Quinn, chasing after a UFO Conspiracy within the Government. In fact at times, this series comes across as a more focused, water downed version of the X-Files. I am not sure about Hynek's logic in this series with him pushing skepticism to further him and Quinn's knowledge on UFO's and my question is what are they doing with the information they find? It most likely would be classified and even if Hynek releases information he would have to deal with credibility issues mainly due to the fact that he spent a good number of year disproving UFO encounters and belittling witness, in fact he was the face of skepticism throughout the run of Blue Book. I am not sure how established history has judged Hynek's character. I have always heard that he was a paid skeptic used by the Air Force to conceal the truth, what he really knew is up to interpretation, which has come out in this series, I guess if they take liberties, they could possibly turn him into an action hero. Which begs the question, what are they doing with the information they find? Mostly likely it goes into a hole where it does not see the light of day, with the liberties they are taking they might as well introduce and early form of the X-Files.
