It's ok. I wish Sabrina was more likable however. Kiernan Shipka doesn't have the charisma that Melissa John Hart had, and her main motivation for anything almost always has to do with Harvey (I guess to keep making out cause In practically every scene they're in that's what they're doing). As for it being dark? Well I guess cannibalism is what they consider as dark as it gets, cause there's a whole lot of it during the series. Lastly, why the hell does the statue of Baphomet have moobs? Every time it's onscreen the lack of d-cups looks so wrong it's distracting.

I feel she has charisma but in a totally different way. MJH was more bubbly but her show was a comedy. I feel Kiernan Shipka has a darker edge with a mean streak. I also think she has a slight MJH look to her that makes me accept her more. The scene where Zelda does what she did to Hilda was pretty dark. I didn't see that coming. I'm not fond of the "new" Zelda. She is evil, manipulative and self serving. I didn't really pay attention to the moobs. I'll have to go back and check them out, lol.

I am a Catholic and normally tinkering with my faith does not bother me (I love Supernatural for example) but here we have the leads, even Sabrina, all behooved to the Dark Lord. They hold Black Mass, call the Christian God the "false God", have blood initiations, cannibalism, and blood sacrifices. Okay Sabrina works her way around most of the abominable stuff but nonetheless her aunts are spot on fine with it all! How can one cheer on someone who is the spawn of a dark lord?? AND she plans to go toe to hoof with Lucifer! How foolish is that?? Someone or thing rooted in evil cannot battle evil.

I'm Catholic too, so I understand where you're coming from. However, I also grew up with comics and this is a series based on a comic book. Evil (or anti-hero) that fights evil is just another common mainstay of the medium. There are comics where the son of the Devil is a hero, written as a son rebelling against the view point of the father. There's also a comic where Lucifer himself is portrayed as a hero, instead of being the root of all evil, he's portrayed under the interpretation of hell being a place of punishment of evil people and Lucifer it's warden as well as reinterpreted as a symbol justice. Evil itself in this comic is just a consequence of free will. The fictional medium is filled with experimentations like this, they aren't meant to promote an opposing viewpoint, but as an exercise in a different way of looking at things.
