Discuss Wild Wild Country

OK, so the dude looked old the whole time...by the end, I was convinced he had lived to a ripe old age, but when I saw the headstone I was SHOCKED! I actually paused the doc and broke out my calculator convinced my mental math was wrong. I guess all those lifestyle choices must have added up to a physical price. One upside is that it explained how he "had such youthful eyes" for an old dude. Youth parading as wisdom...crazy!

A long grey beard and being bald can easily make someone look older... Add to that the whole religious garb and such...

Also, he was vegetarian and not physically active, that combo can make people look frail by their 50s...

I had a colleague who used to die his hair grey, to give a salt & pepper look to the sides of his head.. He also wore fake glasses and such to look older. People thought he was a distinguished man in his 50s even though he was only in his mid 30s... Clients thought he had decades more experience than he did...

Perception is power...
