Discuss Celebrity Big Brother

I watched the Fri. and Sun. night shows (after last week watching the season premiere, but then skipping the two subsequent episodes). Tamar sure is waaaay OTT with her dramatic tendencies. smirk

I was cracking up when she was doing the HOH competition and being all nervous-breakdowny about being afraid to jump/fall, despite that it was only a no more than perhaps 3 ft. drop to the padded floor. lol

Btw, this thread picks up from where the following thread leaves off: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/76912-celebrity-big-brother/discuss/5a9333e90e0a2616bd0262a5?page=2#last

I sure don't understand why it's permissible this season, as part of the main point of BB has always been being completely shut off from the outside world, with absolutely no outside contact or interaction.

It would have been nice if, during the season's opening episode, some at least passing mention, by our dear Mrs. Chen-Moonves, had been made about what the deal will be with permissible celebrity social media use during this season.

Yeah, Mrs. Moonves, please tell us.

Btw, hard to believe the season will end just a week from tonight. The time has certainly whizzed by - and the house still seems pretty full, for there being just seven days left to go!

I know I can't believe it.

I don't think that either Tom or Lolo will win. And, as far as houseguests votes go, probably also Tamar wouldn't be likely to get a majority of votes. So probably actually someone else - perhaps Natalie? - will win.

It depends on who sits next to Tamar and any twists that they might have.

Btw, something else that seemed unusual, one particular time this season, was when the houseguests were a week or so ago up on the wall for a HOH competition and some BB employees were clearly shown rushing across the foreground area spraying I forget what at the people who were still up on the wall.

The show has always, until then, kept general employees entirely out of shots, but that time made absolutely no attempt to hide the fact that there were miscellaneous "outsiders" obviously in the same visible area, between the people still up on the wall and the houseguests who had already gotten eliminated by falling.

That incident left me wondering how much limited day-to-day visible crossing-of-paths may now and then occur between houseguests and show employees, regarding either indirect or perhaps direct interaction.

That third wall was broken when Teen Mom started doing it, and ever since then I've seen more and more of that.

Very exciting episode on Friday, and I think Tamar get to the finals. Will she win it? I don't know, when she was doing the happy dance when Tom was voted out of the house.

The competitions have all been fun to watch, and it seems as if they are comps that give everyone a good chance at winning.

Yes: I, too, have enjoyed this season. It turned out to be a good mix of houseguests, and entertaining and/or interesting goings on most of the time.

Tamar definitely is who I'd like to see win. Even if she doesn't get the majority of houseguests' votes, I suspect she'll easily win America's Fave Houseguest.

Regarding Tamar, I noticed her sister, Toni, was up for an award on the Grammys. It got me thinking that I can't imagine if I were to have an immediate family member on an internationally televised live broadcast, up for a major award, and not be able to watch it - would completely explode my brain to have to miss that!

Does anyone know where I can see the whole movie? I've tried on https://www.filmefox.tv/ and is not here add ?!

Thank you

Hi, cihuletzu.

I've only ever watched the series on t.v. It's a CBS series. The episodes can be viewed via CBS' site. Here's the link: https://www.cbs.com/shows/celebrity-big-brother/

Hmm... weren't you the one, who was thinking about passing on this season?

Toni has been nominated multiple times for Grammies, so Tamar had plenty of opportunities to see her sister go up for a Grammy.

Yep: I, at first, came thiiis close to not following the season, after ep. 1 didn't grab me. Fortunately, after skipping I think eps. 2 and 3, but then watching ep. 4, I wound up unexpectedly happily hooked, and have been onboard ever since. grin (Having said that, I'm near definitely certain that I won't watch this summer's regular season, as my schedule will be all wrong by then for being able to make the ongoing time commitment. Next winter's short celebrity season, though, should, I think, most likely be doable.)

True about Toni. I hadn't realized she was up for any award this year, till I saw her on the Grammys. I'd have liked to see her win and be all Tamar-like about it: That would have been good television! rofl

Someone needs to sign Tamar on a sitcom: She'd be a natural!

I think shows like BB, Amazing Race, Survivor, and PR are shows that I'm addicted to, but I do believe that I skipped a season of BB. It was during those times when the bros were all winning, and it got predictable.

That will never happen. Tamar and Toni are worlds apart in personality. Plus, they are eleven years apart in age, not that matters in my relationship w/my sister. It's odd that the sisters that are closer to Tamar in personality (not really close because no one can come close to Tamar) are the ones she clashes with the most.

Regular BB's summertime seasons run overly long for my liking, as it's I think three full months of 4 nights per week, which can be hard (and/or sometimes impossible) to conveniently keep up with. Too, so much backstabbing and treachery, week after week, all summer long, can become super exhausting (and sometimes irritating) to follow after a while.

I've never seen the Braxton sisters' reality series, so am not familiar with what any of their personalities are like. Toni's always seemed very "together" and kinda demure, judging from her professional performing persona. I pretty much only know her from her big hit "Un-Break My Heart" (which I love, incidentally - terrific song). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2Rch6WvPJE

I know what you mean about age difference amongst siblings, that it often doesn't make any difference. I have two sisters, 12 and 13 years my senior, and we've always been super-close, despite that they both were gone from home and beginning adulthood by the time I was 6.

I get you but there isn't much that I watch during the summers, so I can dedicate 3 nights a week. If I miss out, I'll binge watch.

I think you described Toni to a T. The other sisters are a mix of demure and whatever is Tamar.

I know what you mean about age difference amongst siblings, that it often doesn't make any difference. I have two sisters, 12 and 13 years my senior, and we've always been super-close, despite that they both were gone from home and beginning adulthood, living far away, by the time I was 7.

I think I have you beat. My sister is 19 years older than me. It can be more of a motherly situation at times w/me.

My late eldest sister and brother were nearly 22 and 17 years my senior, respectively, so always, while I was growing up, felt more like long-distance aunt and uncle type relatives who I didn't know well or see often. I grew up with just my closest-in-age late other brother (who was close to 3 years my senior) at home. So it was always like there were three separate groupings of we sibs - the two oldest, the two middle, and the two youngest.

I won't state any names, or give any clues, in case everyone's not yet watched the finale show. But, first of all, how voting went for the winner was impressive, as we normally haven't seen similar throughout the years. Meanwhile, I'm amazed by how the America's Fave Houseguest votes went!
