Engaging and well acted on all counts. But like so many English TV series it is impossibly slow. I suppose that is the American in me who gets only 42 minutes per hour of an ep instead of a full hour. So much happens in an hour of "Requiem" and yet the main plot moves but an inch; if that.

I am at a loss as to how much time has passed for Tilly. Certainly her moms death allows her some time to walk away from her concert engagements but just how much? She is supposed to be in NYC in three weeks (as per the call with her agent). Her relationship with Hal seems to be fracturing. And in no way, as a pro musician myself, do I understand smashing her cello!! The art comes first. All the mess with the past will still be there in a year!

Nonetheless, I too want to get to the bottom of what is going on. Just hope Tilly does not toss her career out the window over it.
