Discuss Mosaic

Saw the trailer and the show seems like a crime mystery show. Being an HBO Originals show, I'm quite intrigued. Anyone here started watching? How's it?

Yes, it is a who-done-it with an interesting cast of characters.I started watching to see Sharon Stone- I had not seen or heard anything from her in a long while and I believed it to be just a six part mini- series, but HBO has said there will be a season 2. I really enjoyed it- binge watched all 6 episodes On Demand. The series moved rather quickly without a lot of filler, I am looking forward to season 2.

You need to be familiar with Soderbergh's style to know what you are entering here. His approach to storytelling is not for everyone, it is not very standard. I personally love his work, especially The Knick which was a masterpiece, so Mosaic felt natural to me. It's sort of detective story of murder investigation with a side of con artists flavor and I really liked it, although in the larger picture it's not truly significant. So it's not Fargo, but it's very entertaining and you just want to watch episode after episode.

When watching I did not realize that I was familiar with Soderbergh's style- I loved The Knick, and yes it was a masterpiece.

Me too- now I know why.
