小系春华邀请千子去自己的家游玩，小系春华拿出自己妈妈收集的相册，两人发现著名演员浪川小兵次与二十面相长得很像，而且他高超的模仿技能让两人更加怀疑。于是两人出发前往剧团探寻真相，经过辨认千子确定浪川小兵次并不是二十面相。从灾祸中逃生的健通过报纸再一次找到千子，千子则发现电影中出现二十面相曾让她看过的宝石。于是，明知淑惠图谋的千子，依然拜托淑惠带她出电影拍摄地参观。

Chiko's aunt further plots Chiko's demise with her lawyer. Shunka finds out about Chiko's experience with Twenty Faces and offers that the two become detectives and search for Twenty Faces. Ken, who is following Chiko, decides that he has been abandoned by Twenty Faces. While at the theater, Chiko sees a jewel that was once the possession of Twenty Faces in a movie. Chiko uses the film's shooting as an as a means to visit the island.

Chiko se lie d’amitié avec Shunka, une camarade de classe. Elles décident de former un duo de détectives et de rechercher Cent-visages. Au cinéma, Chiko voit sur l’écran un joyau appartenant à Cent-visages. Elle décide de se rendre sur les lieux du tournage en accompagnant sa tante. Ken qui l’observait depuis quelques temps, la suit en cachette.

春華の家へ遊びに行くチコ。そこで春華が見せたのは、かつて天海座という劇場で活躍した、浪川小平次という役者の写真だった。彼こそが二十面相の正体だと言う春華。その正体を確かめるため、二人は天海座へ向かう！
