I understand that NBC mark it as 1-2-3 however searching for Will & Grace Season 1, 2 or 3 will result in the original series not the new series.

There are multiple reports that have open and closed reporting the same thing. Isn't TheMovieDB to help the community? If the community keeps asking for this clearly there is a reason?

I have no idea what that means, but the series were released very different years so they should be easily distinguishable.

There are always users strongly arguing opposite positions: combine vs split specific shows, add miniseries to the TV section vs movie section, allow vs delete duplicate content, etc. We can't please everyone. We can only follow the official guidelines and try to be as consistent as possible.
