I just finished watching first season and TV show is pretty interesting, however it's funny how it tries to show us that main character is good and few other characters are bad. Let's discuss them: Main character - Landry... He's master of Templars who are religious, bound to Christ, living with Christendom creed, yet he's having an affair with married woman - queen Joan. Despite the fact that he's breaking the rule of marriage which is supposed to be sacred by Christian rules there's even more there - he's pretending to be friend of man who's wife he is pleasing. Kind considers him not only his friend, but his brother, tells him that he trusts him, yet Landry is f**cking his wife and there's even one moment in this TV show where Landry speaks how he could kill the king and poor king thinks that he is his brother. This is so wrong. Not only Landry is making sinful crimes, he's also betraying his friend - king. There's more things that I don't like about his character. If you watched whole season, you will remember this moment when Gawain - his Templar brother asks him that when Landry will find holy grail, will he allow him to drink from it so it can cure his leg. Landry refuses and tells him that grail has far more important goals than some personal issues and it's meant for far greater things (by the way, grail was used once to cure wounded man. Their former master - Godfrey used it to cure his brother). Later, when finally king finds out about their affair, he's heartbroken and feels betrayed, however he still gives his wife chance and tells her that they can start from the fresh if she considers her upcoming baby (from Landry) as his. Joan, instead of being grateful that her husband decided to forgive her cheating, she still refuses his offer and tells him that this baby isn't his, but Landry's. Some other normal husband, wouldn't even give chance to their cheating spouse's but he still tried and she still refused it. Anyway, after that, king gets very mad (and he has every right to be mad), he traps Landry, beats him up. Joan shows up there, asking king to show a mercy and not kill Landry if he ever loved her. King gets even more mad and says that she tried to use his love to save her lover and he kills her instead of Landry. When Joan is dying, Landry tries to use the grail to save her. Really? Remember, how he denied to help his brother Gawain with grail? Said it had more importance that some personal things, however when it comes to save his lover, he uses it on her. What a hypocrisy! I don't understand, why TV show tries to show us that main character Landry is good and his sinful love with married woman was okay, while attempting to make king bad, make Gawain bad. Oh yes, Gawain, after Landry denies to help him with grail, gets angry and betrays him, but ask yourself, wouldn't you be angry if you'd know that your brother has something that can help you to become normal again after being cripple? Especially if you know that your another brother used it once to save his brother and it worked. And then, Landry using this grail for his lover... Sorry, makers, but Landry by all means isn't good character and king on the contrary isn't bad character at all. He seems very fair and good king. That's my analyses.
