Here’s what a source had to say on the matter: It all had to do with Covid vaccines. Amazon has a very strict policy on making sure their sets are Covid-free zones.

It's a shame he felt he had to give up what should have been a breakthrough role for him. Especially as he was the only one out of the youngsters who didn't seem to be stuck in "stage school" acting mode.
