I found following note in Kodi-Wiki (https://kodi.wiki/view/NFO_files/Parsing):
"A Parsing NFO file cannot be used for Seasons or Episodes. Seasons and Episodes are matched via the correct TV Show."
You forgot to indicate us how your files are name.
I found following note in Kodi-Wiki (https://kodi.wiki/view/NFO_files/Parsing):
"A Parsing NFO file cannot be used for Seasons or Episodes. Seasons and Episodes are matched via the correct TV Show."
It was an existing organisation with five folders ("season 01" to "season 05"), which was wrongly scraped with the spanish info with 3 seasons. Files in the folders are named as stated earlier.
Your question gave me the right twist - problem solved. Thany you for that!
If the series was already scrapped before, the procedure is a bit tricky (seems to be due to the database of KODI, that it is so complicated).
What I did:
1.) Rename the folder of the problematic series (e.g. to "ZZZ").
2.) Go to "Settings/Media/Video" and select "Clean library".
3.) Go to "Series" and check if the series has been deleted. If not, do it manually ("Remove from library" in the context menu of the series).
4.) Start "Refresh Library" > The series should show up again, now with the correct series episodes, because the "tvshow.nfo" contains the reference to the TMDB.
5.) Rename the folder of the series back to the original name (e.g. to "Money Heist (2017)").
6.) Go to "Settings/Media/Video" and select "Clean Library".
7.) Go to "Series" and check if the series has actually been deleted. If not, do it manually ( select "Remove from Library" in the series context menu. Don't worry, the video files will be preserved.).
8.) Start "Refresh Library" > The series should show up again, now also with the correct series episodes, because the "tvshow.nfo" contains the reference to the TMDB.

You need to use this episode group.
The Kodi manual is here.

Would you pls. explain more detailed, because it doesn't work for me.
Scrapper is "TMDb TV Shows". Folder named "Money Heist (2017)". Seasons are in seperate folders, named "season 01", "season 02", ... Parsing NFO file named "tvshow.nfo" located in folder "Money Heist (2017)". Episode group in "tvshow.nfo" is "https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/71446-la-casa-de-papel/episode_group/5eb730dfca7ec6001f7beb51". Library Update .

Did you scrap this series from scratch or did you have a previous organisation in the folder ?
