Objecting to an actor playing a part based on their colour, race or gender is a pet hate of mine. Acting is pretending to be other people. If an actor is skilled enough to pull it off, more power to them.
Generally the only exception would be actual historical figures. Greek legends doesn't mean the characters have to be Greek. They are fictional characters, just like Batman or Donald Duck.
Where does this nonsense end? Only young Danish men can play Hamlet? Bonkers.
