I watch it too lol. I always liked here comes honey boo boo. I agree with everything you said. I hope this turns into a series and Alanna and pumpkin get into shape.

I'm curious to see what happens this week with the "big reveal." Last week with her throwing her revenge dress out and being so depressed it was kind of sad. I guess it would be upsetting for her to go through these surgeries thinking everything would be so easy and to be faced with such long recoveries and pain and it would be easy to give up. It would be nice to see the girls get in shape as well, of course without going to the extremes June did. I don't think she would encourage them to go the surgical route like she did, and something tells me they wouldn't be too excited about it either!

I watch it for what it is - manufactured reality drama. I dont believe June ever planned to not go through with the 2nd surgeries. I laughed when the revenge dress was conveniently thrown out in a zip sealed bag. There's no way June spent time with those bandages awkwardly wrapped around her head until the reveal. Her family saw her long before the photo shoot without bandages. I still get a good chuckle out of all the hoops they jump through to create drama, though. And I'm happy for her success. Hopefully she keeps at it and maintains. And, yes, the girls DEFINITELY need to get their health in order before they end up too far gone.

@joshgallet - Oh I know, the manufactured drama has to be part of it. You could tell the way her family acted during "the big reveal" at the photo shoot. You would think after that dramatic of a transformation they would all be jumping up and down and screaming. I mean, I know they had seen her all the months as she was getting smaller, but really. I am happy for her as well, I know she went the surgical route but it doesn't seem like an easy way out to me. I know people who had gastric bypass and slowly ate themselves back to as big as they were before, I saw them get sick if they ate too much, etc. To go from eating anything and everything to eating practically nothing must be really difficult. The thing that is starting to bother me about this show, however, is how rude Sugar Bear's fiancé is. I mean, yeah it's more manufactured drama, but from the get go this woman has been evil. June was trying to be nice and this woman is just not having it. Although my daughter and I had to laugh, did they really name the cat Lucifer, seriously? That has to be made up to go along with the whole thing! I hope June keeps it up, she looks good and it would be sad to go through all that pain and expense and just let it go. I truly hope her kids get in shape, or at the very least start to eat much healthier, although I don't think after watching what their mom went through they would be excited about having surgery to lose weight. Alana really needs to do something, poor girl just seems to keep getting bigger.
