There is so much to say about this. The first thing is, I can't be the only one to think it was strange that Robert's mother was so hateful and intolerant with Robert being gay. My first thought is she is a butch lesbian until she came out and said, "Robert and I had something in common. We both like men."

Also, I actually thought you could get disability benefits being HIV when it was said how Robert kept getting fired from jobs when they learned he was HIV. Maybe he never applied, but I know people who are HIV and getting disability plus food stamps, but maybe they are worse off than he is. I don't really know. They don't work, though, except selling jewelry and bags without reporting the income.

This case was so strange and sad.
