Discuss Round the Twist

What a happy theme song at the beginning. notes slight_smile It pulls you right into this fantasy world where strange things happen.
Every episode is a wacky adventure with the Twist family. Is it magical or is it something else?
You never know what to expect and the ending itself becomes twisted. grinning

Have you ever watched it?

Was my favourite show as a kid. I saw most of the first series on its original run but it was the 2nd which was my favourite hence the username.

It had fantastic charm. I spoke to Joelene who played Linda in series2 on Facebook recently, actually and she was saying what fun it had been to have been part of it.

I'm going to start showing it to my kids now as I'm sure they'll be hooked on it too.

That was and still is a great show. relaxed

How long ago did you speak to Joelene? She hasn't done much acting for a while, the last I heard she got married in 2009.

I did get confused when Joelene replaced Tamsin as Linda Twist, but then I thought it was just something magical that was part of the show, and so it didn't surprise me when several years later there was Ebonnie.

Some day I'll have to rewatch every single episode, the first and second series will always be my favourite.

Yeah, I used to love this. I always remember Pete's magical underpants first when I think of it.

It was 2016 or so. Yeah, she said she's doing a bit of writing and production stuff these days. Only been in a few acting roles. Seems to be enjoying the family life too in her new home.

I dunno if I've just never grown up or the show has a charm that appeals to adults too but the episodes are still amusing to this day. I could sit and watch them again quite happily...without my pants.
