Discuss The Handmaid's Tale

I just finished the book yesterday and have caught up on all 3 available episodes. My question is this- (and yes, I know Tv adaptations don't always follow the source) Are they leaving out a lot of, in my opinion, important little scenes? And are things happening way out of order? With that being said, I'm really enjoying this. Just wanted to know if anyone else thinks.

It's definitely not following the order of events in the book, but personally I prefer it that way. I knew a little about the story before reading the book because of all the hype about the show but I think if there were no show and nobody talking about it I wouldn't have had a clue what was going on the first few chapters. I really didn't care for the way the book was written.
