I was a little concerned at first, but it has gotten better with each episode. Really liked the parent tie-in to the mystery introduced in the 2nd episode. I had to laugh at the hunk-heavy Juvenile Detention Center. Greg Berlanti sure does like his eye candy.
This show has become increasingly frustrating to watch, especially with the juvenile detention center. What kind of place is Riverdale that everyone except for Archie, his family, and a select few friends are unabashed criminals, especially people working in law enforcement and the criminal justice system?
I'd say it is better than season 2 (although that's setting the bar very low) but I think they're getting into the trap of clichés and trying too hard. I find it's getting lamer and lamer.
