Honestly, I love me some Sheriff Keller, but he is not much of a detective. His only son foils a murder on Grindr Hill, and he needs Betty to spell it out for him that Kevin shouldn't have been out there in the first place?
I hope Kevin and Moose get together. They do make a cute couple.
I understand why Betty had to snitch on Kevin, but I also understand why Kevin would never speak to her again.
Does anyone else find the whole "You are a Lodge first and foremost, Mija" a bit weird. I think so, only because the Lodges are a real family. Veronica Lodge was based on a real person. They represents Stodgy Old Money dating back to colonial times. Country clubs, summers at the Hamptons, dining with royalty on private Islands, all that. The butlers and pearls is a nod to that, but the infighting, crooked Madoff schemes, hired goons, and shady backroom deals are at odds with it. It Hiram were a Lodge first and foremost he would have probably hanged himself in prison for bringing so much disgrace to the family name. It's like they switched places with the Blossoms, who were supposed to represent the tacky nouveau riche.
I really like Tony so far. Her interest in Jughead seems more political than romantic. I hope it lasts and she isn't just there to try to make a sandwich out of Bughead, because that's how this sort of thing plays out in fiction, but never in real life.
Possible spoiler regarding the Black Hood: I don't for one moment believe he is targeting people for their loose morals. I'm pretty sure he is a hitman, striking with surgically precision, as part of a master plan...I know this is speculation, but I've thought this from the start, and I'm seeing plenty of evidence I am correct. Mr. Andrew, Ms. Grundy, Moose, and now Ethel...they were all targeted for a reason.

Ok, the whole thing is getting a little absurd. There is a killer running around and the entire town turns on Archie for being a vigilante? I can understand if it's because everyone knows he's doing drugs and running around with a gun, but that's just Dilton and Reggie, and they are not talking. He should be in jail, btw, for threatening someone with a gun. That's not a minor offense that can be shrugged off with a quick search of his locker. Betty doesn't remember a code that she used to study obsessively as a child? Isn't she only fifteen or sixteen? Even if she was eight or nine when she used to dabble in it, that wasn't too long ago. And the killer would have to be someone who knew of her obsession with Nancy Drew (which runs counter to my theory) or a grown azz man pursuing children's book at the local library.
