I read about the ordeal of Leah Remini growing up with her family in the Scientology Church.
She is an actress, who played Carrie on the TV sitcom "The King of Queens" and I never would have guessed then that she was a (now ex-)Scientologist.

All that she went through in that community must have left some deep emotional wounds, that will take a long time to heal. Hopefully she and her family will be able to recover from that.
