Does it get better in season 2?

I thought season 1 was pretty average... nothing intrigued me... not enthralled by the fantasy element. But it was pretty decent.
Does season 2 get any better?

I just finished the serie...and it does get better and better.

S1 was "ok" w great animation, S2 improved from that towards the end and S3 was, IMO, very good. Visually I find the series at times as brilliant.
