I am enjoying this show so far. I believe I am on ep 8. It's real heavy and complicated.

What stood out to me was when the mother of the white teen walked into the precinct and said she hoped the black cop suffered (to his face). It made me wonder if that had been the black mother whether the other cops would have intervened. There are so many double standards in this case. I guess that's why it's an interesting show because so far it mimics real life.

Cant wait until it all unfolds.

***edit- When I wrote this, I hadn't seen when the police knocked the black mother down. Disgraceful!!
