Welcome back, Satai. It's great to hear from you.

Hi all. I've only sort of been watching, but Tarik's brother is quite the hypocrite, bashing Hazel and Tarik's relationship, then running to the Philippines to live with his new girlfriend, "indefinitely?"

Larissa makes me want to vomit. She's insecure, selfish, narcissistic, and annoys the sh!t out of me with the way she talks. Always mispronouncing words ON PURPOSE because she THINKS it's cute and sexy. It's not. But yes, she is right that the Colt/Debbie relationship is strange and creepy. But I did see part of the tell all that was on last month, and that's why I say that she's so insecure. Walking off the set to change because she's jealous of Fernanda? Really? Wow. She's older and should have a better sense of self. Sad that she lets a 20 year old get under her skin like that.

Nicole is annoying me. She refuses to see that Azan is using her for what little money she is able to send him. Didn't he say once that he had a job until he met her? That he quit his job because she sends him money? He doesn't love her and never did. But then, she can't have very good taste in men if she's got a baby, but she isn't with the baby's father, and she's not a really good mother either. Good mothers don't let their babies call every guy they date "daddy." sigh

David and Annie are my favorites. I used to like Andrai, but his macho attitude is getting on my nerves. If he's so macho, then he should have run out and got a job ages ago to "prove" his manhood. That's what most macho guys do. They are macho because they don't want their wives working. They want to be the bread winners of the family and they'll take just about any job so long as it brings in money.

Ashley is an idiot. She knew the father is a womanizer and that it's a thing for a guy to have lots of girlfriends on top of having a wife. She really thought Jay was better than that? Apples don't fall far from trees. It's her own fault she's in the situation she's in.

Pedro and Chantel. I don't know what to think there. I'm not crazy about her family, but I despise his. The sister is just a flat out bitch, but then, so is the mother.

Has anyone heard anything about the guy with the Russian girl and the baby? He seemed a bit on the strange side to me the way he'd snap at her for basically no reason. She seemed kind of scared of him at times and I can't blame her, so no wonder she was overly protective with the baby and not wanting him near the baby.

Russ and Pao. I kind of liked her for a while, but the way she'd egg on her so-called friend to disrespect Russ, then get angry at Russ for defending himself? She's a child. And now she's going to have a child. Sad. And she tries to play the victim regarding Russ' parents. She was the one who was late, then tried to act like it was everyone else's fault that they had to leave when they were waiting around as they were. She got what she deserved. She could have gone early in the morning or even the day before for her precious manicure. There was no reason to go right before the party. Disrespectful.

Btw, re: Tarik and Hazel and the prenup. I thought she agreed to sign it? So yeah, he'd still be responsible for her re: the ten year sponsorship thing, but the rest of his money and property (in theory as there are ways around prenups) would still be protected. So it's not an entirely pointless thing to do. Especially since he has a child to consider.

I go back on forth with my opinion of these fools and how much reality there exists on this show.

Tarik's brother is a fame whore. He wants in on that reality TV gig that his brother scored. They are funny on the Pillow Talk episodes though.

I can understand why you feel the way you do about Larissa. I still find her entertaining and I think most of their storyline is real, so I enjoy their scenes. Btw, is ANYONE surprised that Coltee is a washout in the sack?

I think that whole trip to Granada or wherever is fake. Nicole would be WAY more upset about it if a real trip had been canceled. Yes Azan is definitely using her for money, he never has had any interest in her romantically or physically. I am just up in the air about her part in it. Does she really have feelings for him, or do they have an arrangement to that they can both harvest the American TLC dollar?

I didn't care much for David and Annie during their season, but I am loving them now. Annie especially, is friggin hilarious. I love them on Pillow Talk.

Libby's sister is right, Andrei is all talk and no action. Big macho dude, talks a good game about taking care of the family, beats his chest, but doesn't really want to work for his keep. That seems to be a common theme among many of the immigrants, they think it will be easy to make money in the US and they can live the high life. What they don't realize is that you have to work hard to get ahead in the US, and that it is expensive to live here.

Pedro and Chantel are another of the stories that I go back and forth as to how real it is. They just don't look or act like a young married couple in love. There is little of the casual touching and physical affection that you would expect to see. While I enjoy their family dramas, I just keep getting fake alarms going off in my head. Still, they have given us some of the best moments on the show. "Harvesting the American dollar" and "things are about to get more stupider" indeed. Mama Chantel seems to be the center of it.

I've heard nothing more about Olga and Steven, the young couple with the baby. Yes, his behavior set off lots of warning bells. He'd get that psycho stare and kind of threatens her to do what he wants. I hope they have broken up but I doubt it.

I am just really over Russ and Pao. I don't dislike either of them, but their 15 minutes were up a LONG time ago. She needs to give up her fake cahrEEAr in Miami, move back to OKC with Russ where he has a real job, raise their child, learn to live with his family, and be happy.

Yes, that's crazy, but I don't know if that's 100% legit. Since, I see him sitting up there on Pillow Talk.

Larissa makes me want to vomit. She's insecure, selfish, narcissistic, and annoys the sh!t out of me with the way she talks. Always mispronouncing words ON PURPOSE because she THINKS it's cute and sexy.

I don't think she's doing that on purpose. Plus, she doesn't have a strong command of English, so I'll give her a pass.

But I did see part of the tell all that was on last month, and that's why I say that she's so insecure. Walking off the set to change because she's jealous of Fernanda? Really? Wow. She's older and should have a better sense of self. Sad that she lets a 20 year old get under her skin like that.

Yes, she did want to out dress Fernanda. Did she walk off the stage? I thought their plane was late and the luggage lost. She demanded that production bring her clothes. The first batch wasn't sexy enough, so they had to go try again to find something sexy enough for her.

Nicole is annoying me. She refuses to see that Azan is using her for what little money she is able to send him. Didn't he say once that he had a job until he met her? That he quit his job because she sends him money?

No, I believe he HAD to quit or he was fired, because she kept calling him. Nicole is just a fool. Whether it be with money, mothering, or relationships, just a fool.

He doesn't love her and never did. But then, she can't have very good taste in men if she's got a baby, but she isn't with the baby's father, and she's not a really good mother either. Good mothers don't let their babies call every guy they date "daddy." sigh

Or change their diapers.

Ashley is an idiot. She knew the father is a womanizer and that it's a thing for a guy to have lots of girlfriends on top of having a wife. She really thought Jay was better than that? Apples don't fall far from trees. It's her own fault she's in the situation she's in.

Not only that, Jay was only 19. What did she expect?

Pedro and Chantel. I don't know what to think there. I'm not crazy about her family, but I despise his. The sister is just a flat out bitch, but then, so is the mother.

So true. When I have time, I'm going to go looking for that Family of Pedro website.

They are all in the US. The Russian girl is hollering back at anyone who questions her man's actions.

Russ and Pao. I kind of liked her for a while, but the way she'd egg on her so-called friend to disrespect Russ, then get angry at Russ for defending himself? She's a child. And now she's going to have a child. Sad. And she tries to play the victim regarding Russ' parents. She could have gone early in the morning or even the day before for her precious manicure. There was no reason to go right before the party. Disrespectful.

She didn't want to be there, plain and simple, but I suspect she did want to be queen for the day and showered with attention.

I can understand why you feel the way you do about Larissa. I still find her entertaining and I think most of their storyline is real, so I enjoy their scenes. Btw, is ANYONE surprised that Coltee is a washout in the sack?

A washout? He wants it ten times a day. He should be a washout.

I think that whole trip to Granada or wherever is fake. Nicole would be WAY more upset about it if a real trip had been canceled.

Hmm... she wasn't so upset the wedding was canceled, and the money supposedly used for a store.

Pedro and Chantel are another of the stories that I go back and forth as to how real it is. They just don't look or act like a young married couple in love. There is little of the casual touching and physical affection that you would expect to see.

I think there is love lost, but I do think it's real. I've been checking in on IG, and I noticed that Chantal/Pedro were not interacting w/the family. River was checked out for well over a year. Before the big brawl, there were pictures of everyone on IG.

I am just really over Russ and Pao. I don't dislike either of them, but their 15 minutes were up a LONG time ago. She needs to give up her fake cahrEEAr in Miami, move back to OKC with Russ where he has a real job, raise their child, learn to live with his family, and be happy.

Yep!

Hi guys! Yeah, I don't watch the pillow talk stuff because the only people on there I would want to listen to are David and Annie. The rest can go suck eggs, ESPECIALLY the twins. I can't stand EITHER of them! But then, I didn't like Darcy on EITHER of the seasons she was on the show.

I'm suspecting that Colt was a virgin (would we be surprised to find that out?) when he met Larissa and yeah, he definitely figured he'd get it all the time if he married a Barbie Doll, so that's what he sees when he looks at her. What she sees in him, I'll never understand.

I always figured the love between Pedro and Chantel is or was real, but it's the angle with her family which I question. I have to wonder how much was faked. And I've said this before because of the fact that SUPPOSEDLY they thought that he was here on a student visa, but he was already living with her in a STUDIO apartment? So that was what raised questions for me. But on his family's side? No, I think all that attitude is real. Nicole (is that the sister's name?) is just TOO bitchy and works up the "pretty girl" angle too much and has the "I'm so pretty everyone should worship me" vibe because, "Nothing I do is wrong. I'm perfect. Everyone else is ugly and stupid." And I grew up in a town with LOTS of girls and the girls' mothers who acted like that. So her attitude and looking down her nose at Chantel and her family is very genuine. She and her mom do think Americans are stupid. I have no doubt that that's their true view on people here. And she expects everyone (especially Chantel) to respect her but she refuses to respect Chantel and never did. She tries to play the victim along with her mother as though Chantel and her family attacked them, but they're the ones who ALWAYS start things and say things, and the reason they don't stop is because Pedro NEVER tells them to stop and NEVER defends Chantel. He ALWAYS takes their side and refuses to listen to ANYONE else. He should be standing by Chantel. Once a man is married, it's supposed to be wife first, THEN his original family. But I see too many times where the husband puts his mother and/or other family members first, and the wife (and their kids) second. I have a friend who is going through this. She knew what she was getting into though when she was dating him, but she chose to go ahead and marry him anyway, and proceeded to have children with him. He is ALWAYS working, and when he's not working he's helping out his dad. So he never gets home at a decent hour, and they're always fighting about it. Deep down though she knows he's not going to change until his father dies. So she knows she's got a choice to make. Stay married to her husband and put up with him never being home and never being there for her, or leaving him and taking the kids with her. Trouble is, there are extenuating circumstances and I know she will never leave him because it would be too difficult for her to raise the kids by herself. If it was just her, I know her. She wouldn't put up with it, and she'd be out the door. But it's not just her. So as to Chantel and Pedro, I don't think he's going to really change (although I was surprised to see him tell his sister to shut up on this week's past episode), so Chantel needs to decide what she wants to do.

Yeah, I've been confused from the commercials of the pillow talk stuff in that Tarik and Dean are both there for it.

I came in late to the tell all, so I made the assumption she walked off the stage to get changed into something to TRY and outdo Fernanda (and I think she failed, but I may be biased since I hate Larissa, but I've always liked Fernanda. Young as she is, yes, she has moments of immaturity, but I still think she's way more mature and put together [and by put together, I mean emotionally, etc., not in clothing] than Larissa is), but that is why Larissa strikes me as very insecure, and therefore NEEDS to be the center of attention and part of why I think she's always fighting with Debbie. Debbie in this past week's episode made the comment that she thinks Larissa is trying to make her leave. I don't think Larissa is trying to make Debbie leave, but she definitely is trying to establish herself as the ruler of the roost and the alpha female. She just wants to "put Debbie in her place," and that's why she's always trying to get Debbie's stuff put in the garage, and get Colt to tell Debbie to stop, etc., which he refuses to do. But he does need to cut the apron strings with Debbie. Notice that he has absolutely no problem spending money on his mom (and it bothers me that he calls her Debbie and not mom), but squawks any time he has to spend money on Larissa, his wife.

Wow, Olga is defending Stephen??? She's got to be either really scared, or really stupid. But then, she did let herself get knocked up at a really young age, so...

I just think Nicole is really dumb. I do think she's convinced herself that she loves him and she also I think wants away from her family and I think that's part of what is driving her to hang on to Azan. She hates the way her family is always on her case. But it's May I worry about. I don't like kids, but that little girl is adorable and deserves a chance (not that all kids don't, but I'm just saying), and I don't understand why her mom doesn't file for legal guardianship over May. Unless there's something in her past she doesn't want revealed, I can't imagine her being denied custody. Then she can tell Nicole to go off to Morocco and feel free to be with Azan. And here's the other thing with Azan; I don't know if anyone remembers it, but one of the producers (or someone with the show on the crew side) asked Azan while they were in Morocco if he wants to come live in the U.S. and he said no. He loves Morocco and wants to marry and raise his children to be Muslims. Obviously this hasn't gotten back to Nicole, and certainly hasn't gotten back to Robbalee (her mom) or she'd be flipping out at Nicole over it. Oh, and I agree that the trip was fake. Otherwise she'd be angry at being out the money for the plane tickets and the hotel, etc. That stuff is non-refundable these days UNLESS you have trip insurance and she doesn't strike me as bright enough to have bought it.

No, you're right, Pao never gave Oklahoma a chance. She arrived, saw how "white" it was, and hated it immediately. It's why she wants to live in Miami. So she can "be with her own kind." She should have stayed in her own country if that was the case (like Eleanor from 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, who refuses to come live here. She's told her fiance that if he wants to marry her, he has to be willing to go live in Ecuador. That girl is going to be wearing the pants in that relationship!). I don't care if people want to come here. What I care about are those who come here and then start making demands on our society that we should be more like theirs. Why did you come here then? I see it all the time with certain ethnic groups around my area and it pisses me off. If you hate it here so much, go back to your own country! Obviously it couldn't be that bad there if you hate it here more! And the worst with Pao is that she's now trying to play the victim, claiming that nobody in his family or his or their friends like her. She never gave any of them a chance. They never got the chance to know her. How are they supposed to like or dislike her without getting to know her? sigh

Ashley obviously wasn't thinking. She saw how cute she was and let something else think for her. She reminds me of Molly and Luiz. What was Molly thinking when getting involved with and marrying Luiz and expecting him to raise her youngest and get along with her oldest (who is more mature than either of them!)? And I find it VERY interesting that I have yet to see Ashley's kids. Do they live with Ashley or do they live with their father(s)?

How long do you think Elizabeth is going to continue putting up with Andrei? Especially after he slaps the phone out of her hands next week? It starts with that and eventually will move to him hitting her. I seriously worry for Elizabeth.

I was never crazy about David, but I did pretty much like Annie from the beginning. She's young, but she knows what she wants, and no, I don't think that she loves David, but I think that eventually she could come to love him the longer they're together and really get to know each other. It's not that he's a bad guy, he's just lazy and an opportunist. He had a good thing going with his friend until the friend's wife caught on and put a stop to it. I don't think Annie knew anything about it until the show revealed all that stuff AFTER they were married, and she was NOT happy about it. She doesn't let him get away with things, and she will give him ultimatums. She HATES living in the storage facility (I heard it got sold and they have to move?) but I think ultimately she knows that she needs to do things she hates to bide time to get to where she wants her and David to be. Many of the others don't understand that. They just expect to be able to get what they want now. Annie's different. She's got a really good head on her shoulders. And I'm glad she stopped listening to David's daughter. I'm also glad she's got her work permit. That's the main thing she seems to have wanted. She realizes he'll never be a great provider, so she wants to start working to better their situation AND to be able to send money back to her family. He still has marriage/dowry debts to pay off. I think she knows that that will only get paid through her working. At the same time though, I really think there's only so much of his crap she's going to take and when she gets pushed too far, she'll file for divorce. I think they're a long way off from that point though.

Oh, one other thing regarding Pedro and Chantel. When they went to the lawyer and he started talking divorce, why can't she rescind her sponsorship affidavit thing the way Jon is doing to Fernanda? That way she wouldn't be responsible for Pedro if they were to divorce. Why didn't the lawyer inform Chantel of that. Is the lawyer not an immigration lawyer? Was the lawyer Jon went to see an immigration lawyer? Is there a time limit after getting married to rescind it and because Pedro and Chantel have been married for three years whereas Jon and Fernanda only just got married? And for that matter, why didn't Danielle do that with Mohammad? It might not have gotten him deported as she claims she so desperately wanted, and it wouldn't get her any money back, but she wouldn't have to support him anymore and that way wouldn't be spending money on him anymore (I'm so glad they don't show her anymore!).

Coltee wants it 10 times a day but I'm guessing it's of the 5 minute variety. That's what Larissa seems to be implying.

Ashley's kids

How long do you think Elizabeth is going to continue putting up with Andrei? Especially after he slaps the phone out of her hands next week? It starts with that and eventually will move to him hitting her. I seriously worry for Elizabeth.

I called it a while back about Liz being afraid of Andrei the Giant.

I was never crazy about David, but I did pretty much like Annie from the beginning. Is he an opportunist? Can a penguin be an opportunist? I just think he lacked ambition.

He still has marriage/dowry debts to pay off. I think she knows that that will only get paid through her working.

No, Annie's mom gave them a discount, so David was able to pay off the dowry.

Oh, one other thing regarding Pedro and Chantel. When they went to the lawyer and he started talking divorce, why can't she rescind her sponsorship affidavit thing the way Jon is doing to Fernanda?

I don't think Jon had enough time to filed for the sponsorship, because Fern was so quick to jump ship.

She's young, but she knows what she wants, and no, I don't think that she loves David, but I think that eventually she could come to love him the longer they're together and really get to know each other. It's not that he's a bad guy, he's just lazy and an opportunist.

Once again my point by point response didn't come out properly, so here goes:

I don't think Libby is in danger, but I do think the glow is wearing off the relationship and that she will start barking back more.

David is an opportunist in the sense that he is good at leaching off of people.

I don't understand how Jon got out of the sponsorship. I thought that was done as part of the K1 application.

If you are watching the new 90 Day Series, The Other Way, I started a discussion thread under that show title for season 1. So far its looking to be great.

I think all of that is done in stages. First, you apply for K1, then you get married, then you sign up for sponsorship, green card, and etc.

This was interesting:

Both the advantage and the disadvantage of the Form I-134 Affidavit of Support is that it is not considered to have much legal weight. In other words, although a U.S. government agency could take a sponsor to court to enforce it, they never seem to do so. Perhaps they realize they wouldn’t win. That’s an advantage because makes it easier for the U.S. citizen fiancé to sign the form, knowing that it won’t endanger his or her financial future if the marriage never happens. It’s also a disadvantage: Because the consular officials know that the affidavit is hardly worth the paper it’s written on, they may disregard it and rely on other facts about your financial condition.

OK, I'm not sure how to make things bold, but yes, when I said he's an opportunist, I meant that he's very good at leeching off of people. He sponged off Chris (is that the guy's name?) for how long? The ONLY reason that stopped is because his wife FINALLY put her foot down and said, "ENOUGH!" That's why they were offered the space in the storage facility. To make David work and EARN the money he was being given. Otherwise, David would have had no motivation to go to work. And because whatever he's earning (if it's anything above having a roof over his and Annie's head) obviously isn't enough to support him so he had to go get that teaching job. And while I'm sure Annie would be a good mom, I'm kind of hoping they don't have kids. She seems like she'd want to stay home with the kids and be an old fashioned housewife, which under normal circumstances is fine, but because David is a minimalist when it comes to working, there's no way he can be a proper financial provider, which means Annie would need to work full time to supplement their income. Which means the children would have to go into daycare. That's more money they don't have.

I'm sort of watching it. I was surprised that Paul (?) and Kalani are back on. He's such a nutcase. But she's kind of crazy too. Maybe that's why they're together. And at some point, one of them is going to HAVE to learn the other's language. This language barrier and continuing to use translating devices through their phones is just ridiculous.

That is very interesting.

What do you think of Nicole's purple hair? It looks healthier for some reason. Not sure its the best color for her, but it doesn't look as damaged as the blonde. So Grandpa Nicole has joined in the chorus of Azan bashers and she still won't listen to reason. I'm not sure how real that text was. I just can't shake the feeling that she and Azan are conning us with this relationship.

I feel the same about the family Chantel and family Pedro drama. They are all so vile. Mama Pedro gonna beat everybody up, rotfl. I can barely stand to look at Sister Braces. Family Chantel are at least entertaining.

Andway and Coltee, what a couple of pu--ys, as Larissa pointed out. Coltee loves that the two women are fighting for his attention. Debbie seems to be the nightmare MIL from hell. Touch her stuff, boy all hell breaks loose. Then you have she-demon Larissa, bent on wreaking as much havoc as possible. Too bad they are divorcing, I wouldn't mind seeing another season.

Andway, man oh man. I'm pretty sure that every woman watching those scenes would have liked to go through the TV and hand his ass to him. How dare he talk to his FIL like that, especially one that is trying to help his pregnant daughter and husband with no job and no plan.

Ashley and Jay, zzzzzzzz

Pao and Russ, all the best for them and their son, but zzzzzzzz.

I'm still loving the Pillow Talk edition.

I like it.

No, he's not grandpa. He's the stepdad. LOL. Darcy made the same mistake on PT.

I don't think Debbie is a nightmare MIL, if they weren't all living in the same home, and I don't blame her about being fussy w/people touching my belongings.

How dare he snatch that phone and jacket?!

Ashley and Jay, zzzzzzzz

Why do they put closed captions on when Jay speaks? I can totally understand him. It's not as if he adds an "e" to words a la Larissa.

Pao and Russ, all the best for them and their son, but zzzzzzzz. Of all the people they could have brought back on the show, and they keep picking them.

I'm still loving the Pillow Talk edition.

The Pillow Talk was off the chain funny! I finally get Annie. She was on fire w/the jokes.

Things might be so much better between Debbie and Larissa if they didn't live together.

My Andway comment about coming through the TV was to address the phone grab. I didn't transition well to the dad comnent.

Ikr about Jay. He has an accent but I can understand him with no difficulty. But then, I've spent a fair amount of time around Jamaicans.

Annie is the star of Pillow Talk. And they are all funny, even the twins.

Totally agree about Russ and Pao. Only explanation I can come up with is maybe TLC thinks Pao attracts male viewers?

I haven't spent that much time around Jamaicans, other than a mean as hell boss back in the day. Still, I can perfectly understand him. It's surprising that Larissa doesn't have captions when English isn't her first language.

A fully pregnant Pao?
