Agree completely. I love the Young Eli scenes, I'm always disappointed when they end. The 1915 storyline is so cliche and full of schlock, especially the forced romance between Pete and Maria. It was so obvious they were setting that up from the very first episode and it's just so boring and annoying. I also hate the way the writers handle the Pete character with kid gloves, so he can continue being the "good" guy.

I feel like any time they advertise the next episode, they focus on the young Eli scenes but then when we watch the actual episode it's mostly the other story lines. They tease us with the good stuff. Bait and switchers! 😀
