@Invidia, you OK? You're normally first to post on a new ep.
Anyway, another strong episode. I was particularly impressed by the fact that it didn't take a few episodes of wandering around before they actually got to Starfleet and that they showed the likely scenario of them showing up but found a way to keep the dynamic. Also liked that the "background" bridge crew are getting more screen time.
Wondering if the (presumably) increased cast of Starfleet personnel such as Oded Fehr was why why Nahn was written out. Also wondering why David Cronenberg. Yes, he's acted in a few things - but he normally seems to be in the sort of parts that someone who knows him asks him if he fancies doing rather than going through and agent/casting process. Is he a fan of Trek?
Back to being worried for Detmer, and Georgiou too now.
Only criticism would be that the mission of the seed ship wasn't clearly explained. I'm assuming it was en route to Barzan and needed someone capable of getting it there (hence Nahn's decision), but initially La Famille LeMarchand all thought it where it was found was it was more of a space station at a permanent location and that it was just bad luck that it had been caught in a storm.

Edited!
Weird; I looked for one of your topics and didn't see one. I'm blaming a completely week at work. Shame we can't get them merged.
Interesting idea about S31. They did seem more militaristic and Oded has been playing more baddies of late...

Not convinced by the time loop as I thought the Harry Mudd episode was made to fulfil the obligation that every SF show has of doing a "Groundhog Day" episode in its run .
If Book is back, that means that the best new character of the season should be seen: https://trekmovie.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/dsc-grudge-throne-1.jpg .

Just thought, maybe it's a hitherto unheard part of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vBZ3UuBk4Q
We saw all that when we watched it. Guess we just assumed that , like existing seed arks, the DIS one would be stationary.
The cat we recently had to say goodbye to was called Mia, too.

Very odd, as they haven't blocked it here (yet?). It's "The Song That United The World" from Bill & Ted 3.
