Syd(ney) Barret? Get it?

For a series, dealing with people with extraordinary psychological abilities in a mental hospital, the name Syd Barret is clearly a nod to ex-Pink Floyd member Syd Barret, an very talented musician who was being hospitalized with mental problems. The other members never completely recovered from the loss when he had to quit the band.

Now that the season has completely aired I'm binge watching and that immediately jumped out at me too.
