Why does Netflix insist on 13 episodes for each of their Marvel seasons when 10 or even less would suffice?
(For Iron Fist the number of episodes should be zero)

no worries there........Netflix has canceled all the Marvel shows they had. Now we wait to see if they end up elsewhere

The whole deal seems to have so much secrecy and mystery around it. Various articles have said it’s marvel that insist on the 13 episodes but that’s too expensive for Netflix considering viewing figures (or buzz around a programme as don’t think Netflix have proper viewing figures). So no point them making them. However doesn’t look like Marvel can just take the shows from Netflix for the new Disney channel either (think they’d have to buy them back for stupid money including contracts if they want to keep the cast). Can’t believe after what happened to Spider-Man and XMen Marvrl wouldn’t have something legal in place to get around this but all seems very odd. Seems like JJ really is the end.

Speaking of ‘cast’, read that unlike the “new faces” on Netflix’s Marvel series, Disney’s Marvel series will be helmed by "known faces" (Hiddleston and Olsen being two names mentioned) from their movies.
Yes, I know that a lot of this stuff is put out there by people with too much time on their hands; but, if it’s true, then, who can blame Netflix for choosing to opt out rather than bringing a knife to a gunfight.
