yeah I was bugged by her since she says she is Persian and knows Arabic but you can just smell the English off of her. I IMDB and it turns out she gets jobs playing every nationalities besides her own... true story she play ten different nationalities.

but the actors who play her parents are Persian as fuck, and are really married in real life(fun fact)

I dug job berenthal take on the punisher.. it was the first time seeing him as a soldier. Like its was always part of his backstory but it was always just there as an answer for his weapons and combat skills and not really used as a characteristic trait. Hell in all the past movies Frank was usually just a cop. This time they focus more on him being a soldier and making him feel like one. Even reading the comics he didn't have much of a soldier vibe but more so an anger man with deadly set of skills kind of vibe, like if taken was about a man who was twenty years younger and his family was dead. I mean the comics do have the issues of Frank being at war and the odd moment when he talks and brings in his army training, like when the punisher kills the marvel universe. But I haven't read much of his solo series and most punshier issues I read are team ups so maybe that's on me..... But anyway it just seems fresh to have this punisher focus on the biggest character trait that I feel has always been ignored and that's his life as a soldier.

This show had a lot of problems, but this character and actress were by far the worst.

And, other than Madani-Russo shippers, haven’t seen any comments praising the actress or the character. That does seem unusual—since even the villains have their following.

I found the actress wooden and the character tiring. Every time she showed she dragged the scene, and I couldn’t wait for her to get off the screen. And if I didn't hate her enough before; that pathetic fight with Krista near the end sealed the worst-character-on-the-show deal for me.

Was so hoping we'd seen the last of her when Russo got his revenge for what she did to Krista.
