Kate certainly got that right when she stated that it was "intense." Wow...

I know there are people on this board for whom Kevin is their least favorite, but I've always liked him (Randall is my personal favorite). Kevin has some legitimate concerns about his childhood, his dad's addiction, and his perceived place within the family. I was blown away (to use an old expression but the first one that comes to mind) by what Rebecca revealed. I've never had children but it sure can't be easy, especially raising 3 children of the same age.

I also liked that we got to see a little bit more of Miguel this time.

Yes Kevin is my least favorite, even thought I want to and try to like him, he just always seems to wind up being an as s.

Kevin has some legitimate concerns about his childhood,...

Which in the flashbacks he was the one being the as s 99% of the time. It was always so sad the way he treated Randall- but it was a big surprise when it was revealed Kevin had not taken Randall's glasses. Kevin's attitude towards both his mom and dad ( and others too) was usually bad.

I was blown away (to use an old expression but the first one that comes to mind) by what Rebecca revealed.

What? That Randall was easier to love? and he never shied away from her touch?

I've never had children but it sure can't be easy, especially raising 3 children of the same age.

Me either, don't want to, and I agree.

I also liked that we got to see a little bit more of Miguel this time.

Yes, Miguel. I have grown to like him- after originally thinking (along with most other viewers) that he was a just a dyck who willy nilly up and married his best friends wife.

I really enjoyed the talks the three "outsiders" had at the bar.

Eh, I think you minimize how feeling constantly neglected has a pretty big impact. Yeah, he acted out in the form of being a brat to his parents and to Randall. And I think it was all a result of being neglected. We only see one instance in the pool where he almost drowned because Rebecca was dealing with Randall and Jack is dealing with Kate, but Kevin clearly says in that episode that it's not the only time he's felt that way. And Randall even acknowledges that everyone has a different perspective, if Kevin, who was just a little boy, felt he was neglected then who is anyone else to say that he wasn't?

I'm a big Kevin guy, he's probably my favorite character just because he's the most screwed up even though he's the one who seemingly should have it all put together. Also, I think adult Kevin is really funny.

I only have and will only have one kid, so I can't imagine how difficult it would be trying to raise multiple kids and give each the necessary attention they deserve. So I don't blame Rebecca or Jack. And her reasoning was pretty much what I alluded to in that he seems like the one who should be the most put together without any problems so logically you would think he would need less attention.

I'm happy giving my kid 100% of my attention. :)

Kevin was being a real jackass when staying at Rebecca and Miguel's home , questioning why Miguel was interloping on the trip to the grocery store. Loved when Miguel firmly put him in place. Paraphrasing now, "I'm HERE to protect her from YOU!" I actually cheered when he said that. Also, relieved that there was some resolution and new understanding in how Kevin perceives Miguel. In the same vein, I'm enjoying that the writers are now fleshing out the character of Miguel for us.

How was he actually constantly neglected? Yes everyone has a different perspective, but I can say he wasn't neglected because that is my opinion formed by what I have seen in the flashbacks. No one left him out in the cold, they always included him and showed him attention, he just seemed to not want it because he was too busy making Randall feel like poop .

Understand- I don't hate Kevin and yes he can be funny, I just can never really like him because he always does or says something hurtful to someone. Seems his whole life he has done and said some really crappy and hurtful things to every single person whose path he has crossed. And I think Kate is those most screwed up.

Exactly. This is what I mean. Just when I start liking him he always unnecessarily does or says something hurtful/insulting to someone. He is constantly acting like a big brat baby_tone2 .

I totally agree with all of this.
